Problem

PRBK (Persekutuan Remaja dan Pemuda Bagi Kristus) GIA Pringgading Semarang managed member data, organizational structure, worship schedules, and attendance manually. This made it difficult to keep member information up to date, monitor attendance history, organize church leadership, and access accurate data for ministry planning and reporting.

The organization needed a centralized church management system that could digitize administrative processes, reduce manual record keeping, and provide faster access to congregation and activity information.

Role

As the Backend Engineer, I designed and developed the server-side application using Laravel. I was responsible for database design, backend architecture, authentication, CRUD modules, business logic, and API implementation to support the administrative features of the system.

Solution

I developed a web-based church management system that centralized all PRBK administration into a single platform. The system included:

  • Member management for congregation and youth member records.
  • Leadership and organizational management.
  • Worship service scheduling.
  • Digital attendance recording for worship services.
  • Administrative dashboard for managing church activities.
  • Search and filtering to quickly access member and attendance data.

The application streamlined administrative workflows and reduced dependence on manual spreadsheets and paper-based records.
